BKtel’s CABLEwatch product family provides a comprehensive network management specifically designed for CATV operator’s needs. CABLEwatch relies on a central database in which the complete user administration as well as all object, event, inventory, provisioning and hierarchy data is stored. Consequently the required maintenance effort can be reduced to a minimum. Utilizing client-server architecture this powerful management software runs under Microsoft-Windows operating systems.

In principle CABLEwatch is able to manage all network elements which are supplied with HMS functionality or are based on SNMP. CABLEwatch was developed in particular for BKtel network elements, but new network elements can be incorporated into the management very easily through open interfaces for proprietary protocols.
