The main focus of BKtel's exhibition was the presentation of new FTTH products such as current Triple-Play Customer premises units:

Another focus was the presentation of a totally new FTTH solutions combining point-to-point Ethernet or PON networks with the new 4-Band SAT-ZF Overlay. This product offers the possibility for the first time to distribute the complete satellite-TV content via a fiber optic access network.

For a successful FTTH project of the telecom service provider EWETEL in Northern Germany, BKtel supplied the technical equipment including the RF video overlay up to the customer premises units and support with its advice and know-how. This project is just in the second installation phase and will be completed with more than 2000 connections.
