The 7th FTTH Council Europe Conference took place in Lissbbon and closed again with a visitor record. More than 2,500 participants attended the conference in Lisbon. How the last years we participated and presented our new products and system solutions.

The brand new highlight: the XON1500 series, the Gigabit customer permission unit.

The highlight on the exhibition booth of BKtel was the product launch of the new triple-play CPE XON600.SVC. With a new and modern look the newest member of the XON-series was presented to the interested visitors. In addition to a modern plastic housing, it offers advanced FTTH technology including a 100 Mbit/s switch for the data communication, VoIP telephony and a CATV interface for TV/video services. And with the new design it can be easily placed next to the game console or the HD flat screen TV in the living room.

Also introduced was the entire FTTx product range such as the high-performance transmitter Fx-ES10XL and the members of the XON500-Series which can be individually tailored to the special demands of the customer. Another main point was the outlook onto the next high-speed CPE generation with the XON1500-series. This will be available at the end of 2009.

From our viewpoint the 6th FTTH Council Conference was an exceptionally well organized exhibition and we thank all visitors for their interest and the constructive conversations. We are looking forward to a further interesting business year with successfull FTTH projects.
